We're Rav and Abbi, a husband and wife from Surrey with two boys at primary and secondary school.
Between work and family life, keeping on top of everything school sends was a constant struggle. School updates arrive by email — detailed, well-meaning, full of things we genuinely wanted to know. But they'd land in the inbox at 6pm on a Tuesday, and by the time we got to them, the thing we needed to act on had passed. A deadline missed. A costume forgotten. A trip we almost didn't sign up for in time.
We tried everything. Folders. Weekend reading slots. Reminders. Nothing stuck. The problem wasn't that we didn't care — it was that the volume was too high and the format was wrong. A long email full of good information still requires you to stop, read carefully, and remember. Nobody has time for that reliably.
That was the question Rav asked in early 2025. The answer became Parent Plan. You forward your school's updates to us. We process them, extract the events, deadlines, and notices relevant to each of your children, and send you a clear summary on WhatsApp. No app. No login. Forward what the school sends, or set it up once on desktop and forget about it.
We built it first for ourselves. Then we started sharing it with other parents. The response told us we weren't the only ones with this problem. So we built it properly — and here we are.
